On September 5, 2019 in honor of The day of languages of the people of Kazakhstan and the 125th anniversary of the birth of the founder Kazakh literature, poet and writer, public person and statesman Saken Seifullin, the Department of culture and development of languages of Shet district held a district competition among public institutions and organizations in the field of public services.

The competition was held on the theme «What contribution do we make to the development of the language?» and covered the stages of a homework assignment, «Greeting», «Сыр сандық», «Қазақша оқы, latynsha jaz» and «Мемлекеттік тіл - мемлекеттік қызметте».

 Following the contest Grand Prix was won by the team «Тiл» Shet Central district library, the I place – the team «Үш тұғырлы жастар» school-lyceum named after Y. Gagarin, II place – the team «Жалынды жастар» cultural and recreation center of a name Sh. Beisekkyzy, III place – the team «Асау тұлпар» school-gymnasium named after J. Akylbaeva. The winners were awarded certificates and cash prizes.
